We've never hosted a Super Bowl event as a company in the past 4 years. I always wanted to make sure we had a chance to enjoy the day rather than working.
But this year.. We are hosting TWO Super Bowl Parties!!!
One is in Downtown Phoenix at Domus Apartments.
The other one is in Tempe down Mill Avenue at West 6th Apartments.
Both very beautiful and luxurious properties.
When planning a party, ask yourself....
What are the essentials for a Super Bowl party?
1. FOOD ..... Pizza, wings, nacho bar, popcorn, pretzels & cupcakes ..... [✓]
2. ALCOHOL ..... Beer, whiskey, wine & fireball shots! ..... [✓]
3. DECORATIONS ..... Green football theme ..... [✓]
4. ATTIRE ..... Sexy referee ..... [✓]

PVC pipes are fun to work with. We are able to make so many different designs and utilize these differently each time.
I'm loving this yellow too, it's perfect.

We get a lot of our costumes from a party store/costume rental place. We lucked and got 2 of them. I plan on wearing one tomorrow and one for the bartender.

It was raining when we woke up.
Event #1 | West 6th in Tempe, Arizona
We arrived early to set up the bar & had our bartender coming later to serve the alcohol.
West 6th was having food & entertainment donated by vendors and us for their Super Bowl Bar.

Event #2 | Domus Apartments in Phoenix, Arizona
Overall, it went well.
Client & residents were happy.
We did not run out of food or alcohol. Compliments on the menu selection, & around 75 people came through.
Behind the scenes, was a different story. It was horrible.
For one, originally we scheduled the event for 6:30pm per client request.
Once looking, we realized the Super Bowl started at 4:30pm.
I forgot to reschedule the bartender with the earlier time.
Our pizza vendor hooked it up with delicious pizza.
They were 45 minutes late though,
& the wing portioning was off.
Never. Enough. Wings.
Cupcakes got tossed around before the event, so we lost a few.
We got a late start and did not have nearly enough time to set up.
Because we were short the bartender, we were short staffed for the first hour.
I didn't have time to change into my outfit.
All in all, it was very disappointing and upsetting to me.
But at the end of the day, my client hugged me & thanked me for a great event.
So, I'll take that as a win.
