2019 events | #eventlife

I truly can not believe it's been another year hosting & running events.

This year was all about rebranding, growth and creating memories for everyone.

We focused less on the little details behind the decorations & more about the human experience. We tried to make things "Instagram Worthy" while creating those memories that residents will cherish.

This year was about PARTYING WITH YOUR NEIGHBORS, getting to know them, breaking out of the normal stigma of "resident events" & having fun!

We hosted 136 event this year and revenue out around $224,150.00!

2019 Goals & Highlights

GOAL NUMBER ONE

Our first goal for 2019 was to get $100,000 in revenue by January 31st.

We passed our goal by $800.00...

Making it $100,800.00!

GOAL NUMBER TWO

Our second goal was to get out of the house.

October 2019 we officially got our 1st office space. That was beyond exciting.

It felt like a huge accomplishment.

It was nice to get away from the house and "go to work" in the mornings.

GOAL NUMBER THREE

Our third goal for 2019 was to finally hire a FULL TIME event planner.

Unfortunately, we did not accomplish this goal but we learned so much from the experience.

We reviewed applications, hosted interviews & got to the final stage of hiring but we just were not fully prepared to bring someone on at this time.

It was really tough for me to want to let go of the control I have on the business. To let someone new in, train them and let them have control. We couldn't find the right fit but once we finally did - we couldn't give her the salary she asked for/deserved.

Next hiring round - we will be more prepared!

HIGHLIGHT NUMBER ONE

We hosted an event that was $12,000.00!!

TWELVE THOUSAND FOR ONE EVENT!

I couldn't believe it!! It was for a student housing community.

We did a huge tropical luau with lots of entertainment for 400 guest. We had catered food, (non-alcoholic) mai tai's', Polynesian dancers, xl yard games, inflatable slip n slides & a DJ.

HIGHLIGHT NUMBER TWO

We hosted a 300 guest event that was a "Take Over" for a new property. It was super exciting because the Marketing Associate of the management group actually booked the event, not the property manager. We love when high ups notice us!

We had 4 different food trucks attend, had tables & seating & a DJ!

It was a very successful event, we ran through all the food tickets!

This event was $6,000.00!

HIGHLIGHT NUMBER THREE

We hosted 2 Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting Events!

One was for the management group to come view the new place, learn about the amenities & new property in Old Town Scottsdale.

We had a beautiful bruschetta spread, wine bar & ribbon cutting ceremony. Our second one was for current & future residents of a brand new community in downtown Phoenix. For this one we had a catered food from local restaurants, themed cocktail bar, live band, live paint artist & a ribbon cutting ceremony.

2019 was a great event year!

TEAM WORK makes the DREAM WORK

Thankful for all our clients & residents who came to party!
